Ability objects (能力目标) :能听懂人们谈论正在如何为节日做准备的对话,并能用现在进行时进行问答练习。
Moral objects (情感目标) :了解英语国家中重要的节假日及其主要庆祝方式,尊重他国习俗。

To understand the conversation about Spring Festival.
To recognise phrases and recognize short answers in the listening.

Preview(预习·导学):
1、根据课文对话,把翻译下列句子译成英语:

2、自主探究:
阅读课本P144-145 Module 2语法讲解后,试着完成下面3小题:

(3) They often ________(visit) China, and they ____________(visit) China at the moment.
3、通过预习,你还在哪些方面存有疑问?

【Class Activities 课堂活动】
Step1. Feedback on the preview:
1、讨论解决预习中存在的问题(师生互问探讨)。
2、听写新学单词,并找若干同学朗读课文对话。

Step2. Reading drills:
1. Read the dialogue in Activity 3 and do Activity 4 individually.
2. Ask and answer the questions with your partners and check them.
3. Listen to the dialogue and underline the words and phrases you can’t understand.
4. Teacher collects them and then writes them on the blackboard.
