Ⅲ. Teaching steps:
Step 1. Lead-in: To enjoy an English song. ( Months Song )
To learn to sing the song and repeat the months of the year .
To say the seasons in different months.
Step 2. To remember months and seasons a year round .
Step 3. To talk about some festivals in different months
( Pay attention to the writing: Children’s Day, Teachers’ Day,
New Year’s Day and Women’s Day )
Step 4. To talk about “ What do you usually do in Spring?”
“ How do you travel?”
Step 5. To talk about “ How did your grandfather travel when he was young?”
Step 6. Listening:
1). Listen to the conversation between Betty and Betty’s grandfather, write down What Betty’s grandfather did and didn’t do in his life history .(Yes / No ) |
