1．Warm up:
播放 P44 Let’s chant，学生吟唱。
2．Preview:
（1）引入：出示教师的朋友海报，教师简单介绍该朋友的姓名、年龄、外貌等，留下空间让学生提问题完成信息卡（出示信息卡），如：Is she a teacher? / What is her hobby? / Where does she work?等。

说明目的：仔细观看，判断对错。（学生观看后，课件依次出示判断题）：

每出示一题，校对一个答案，判断该答案错误必须说出如何改正。
（2）Reading 2:

②帮助学生理解难词难句：利用讲解、直观教具、表情、课件等。
twins：课件出示几对双胞胎；
cartoons：课件出示卡通人物；
excited：利用表情，由happy引出。
They look the same, but they are very different. ：（课件演示）对比两个相同物品，再对比两个不同物品，引出same和different的关系；操练different的发音和用各种方法引导学生练读句子：They look the same, but they are very different.
Alice says her family is coming to China soon.：（利用日期）My birthday is on ****. / Today is ****. / My birthday is coming soon. ，并特意把soon读得很快，从而使学生形象感知和理解此句中soon的意思。
③学生默读短文，完成课本P51的练习。
