2. Ability objects (能力目标) :能听懂人们谈论正在如何为节日做准备的对话,并能用现在进行时进行问答练习。

3. Moral objects (情感目标) :了解英语国家中重要的节假日及其主要庆祝方式,尊重他国习俗。

1. To understand the conversation about Spring Festival.

2. To recognise phrases and recognize short answers in the listening.

【Learning Procedures学习过程】

Preview(预习·导学):

1、 看单词表上的音标学读下列单词:Spring Festival, get ready for, clean, cook, meal, learn, dragon dance, lantern, sweep, floor, happen, help, at work.注意拼写,掌握词义。

2、 试着阅读对话,在不会读的下面画△,查字典并标注音标或问同学和老师,再试着读几遍,仍不会读的单词有:

Step1. Feedback on the preview:

1、讨论解决预习中存在的问题(师生互问探讨)。

2、学习新单词后全班齐读,并找若干学生朗读。


Step2. Warm up

Talk about the following questions:

1. What kind of festival do you like, Western or Chinese?

2. What’s the biggest festival in China?

3. What do you think people usually do to get ready for it?


Step3. Vocabulary drills

1. Look at the words in the box in Activity 1 and try to get their meanings, and then read them together.

2. Match the words with the pictures individually and then check with your partners.


Step4. Listening drills

1. Listen and check individually and then check with your partners.

2. Talk about the five pictures, according to the phrases.


Step5. Listening drills

1. Listen to the tape and answer the questions:

1) Where are Lingling and her family doing?

2) Where is Lingling’s father?

2. Check the answers in a whole-class setting.


Step5. Listening drills

1. Listen to the dialogue carefully, and do Activity 3.

2. Check the answers with your partners.

3. Work in pairs, ask and answer them.

4. Read the dialogue after the tape and pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.


Step6. Reading drills

1. Listen and read the dialogue in Activity 2, and pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.

2. Work in groups and practice the dialogue in roles.


【Homework课后习题】

1. Read the new words and try to learn them by heart.

2. Read the dialogue of Activity 3 at least three times.

3. Finish the exercises of preview in the next paper.
