试着阅读短文，在不会读的下面画△，查字典并标注音标或问同学和老师，再试着读几遍，仍不会读的单词有：

Step1 Feedback on the preview
1、讨论解决预习中存在的问题（师生互问探讨）。
2、学习新单词后全班齐读，并找若干学生朗读短文。
Step2 Speaking
Work in pairs. Look at the pictures and talk about the following questions:
What kind of festival are they? Why?
Why do people paint the doors and windows red?
Step3 Fast-reading drills
1. Read the passage in Activity 2 quickly and then do Activity 2 individually.
2. Check with your partners.
Step4 Careful-reading drills
1. Listen and read the passage carefully.
2. Do Activity 3: 新课标第一网
1) Read through the four questions and get their meanings.
2) Match the questions and the paragraphs individually.
3) Write down the answers on your book
4) Ask and answer the questions with your partners and then check them.
3. Listen and read the passage loudly and pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.
4. Work in groups and read the paragraphs one by one.

Do exercises 5&11 on Page 94 individually, and then check with partners.
