The General Idea of This Period

In this period the students will read a report about what China is doing to protect the Yangtze River.After reading,the students are expected to write a report about other things China is doing to protect the environment.To write the report well,the teacher needs to help find out the structure of the given report so that the students can follow it and organize their own report properly.Also the students have to be given some materials and time to search for some useful information.By doing this,the students’ vocabulary is expected to be enlarged,integrated skills improved.
